Open Evening
November 9 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Due to a technical issue concerning part of the equipment we planned to use during this event, we have decided to postpone this Open Evening. We will schedule a new date (probably March 2024) as soon as we know when the equipment will be fully operational. In the meantime, if you haven’t yet booked tickets but are interested coming, please go through the booking process and we will be in touch to confirm the new date as soon as we have it.
Come along to our open evening and gain a fascinating insight into what we do, how we are run, and the projects we are currently funding and have funded over recent years. Whether you’re new to the charity or a longstanding supporter, this informal and informative evening will tell you more about our work to improve bowel cancer survival.
The evening will include video, talks, displays, and some interactive elements. See – and even get to use – some of the amazing facilities and equipment based at the Royal Surrey and Mattu, which usually hosts courses in laparoscopic surgery, colonoscopy and other minimal access surgical techniques. Chat one-to-one with the researchers involved in some of the projects we are supporting to gain a first-hand understanding of how a medical project gets off the ground and is monitored throughout.
It’s a free event but numbers are limited so please book in advance.
