Our annual fundraising motor tour has been running for over 20 years and is as popular as ever. It’s a fabulous day out for drivers and passengers and a wonderful spectacle for all vintage and classic car enthusiasts. Rolls Royce and Bentley motors happily rub hubcaps with the likes of Morris Minors, Citroen and Riley – we are happy to welcome any vintage or classic car.
Participants know the start point and final destination but the actual route remains a closely guarded secret until close to the day itself. ‘Tourists’ enjoy coffee and breakfast at the start point before setting off in managed stages. Every year there’s a new route and destination, with a quiz relevant to the route just to make sure no short cuts are taken! In 2018 the final destination was Sandhurst Military Academy near Camberley and in 2017 we were treated to a tour of a fabulous private collection of vintage and classic vehicles and motoring ephemera near Farnham.
Thanks to Stefan and Jane (and helpers) for organising the motor tours.
2019 TOUR DATE: SUNDAY 22 SEPTEMBER
