If you are thinking about taking part for the first time, don’t just take our word for it! You can find out what a well-organised and enjoyable event this is from the runners themselves on the Runners World ratings page, where 96% said they would do it again.
The Bolt offers distances of 21k (half marathon), 10k and 5k, with a 5k juniors’ race and a 1k fun run for children aged 6-9. Cani-cross runners are also welcome. Registration fee includes medals for all finishers, chip timing, swift results on-line, winners prizes, secure bag drop and energy gels. On-site refreshments are available.

We couldn’t hold this event without the help of our brilliant volunteer marshals, who get to enjoy all the fun and excitement of the race without actually having to do
any running! Duties include manning water stations, helping at the registration point and bag drop, acting as a pointer along the course and generally offering
words of encouragement to any flagging runners. Our marshals are so well thought of that they picked up several special mentions on the Runners World ratings page.
If you would like to be part of the Bolt volunteer marshal team we would be love to hear from you – please get in touch by telephone on 01483 408316 or drop us an email.
